Garg Steels, a reputable manufacturer and supplier based in Chennai, India, specializes in high-performance Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings, celebrated for their exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion. Designed to meet the demanding standards of various industries, including marine, chemical, and petrochemical, these forgings strike a perfect balance between toughness, formability, and weldability. At Garg Steels, precision is key; they utilize top-notch raw materials and advanced forging techniques to ensure products boast outstanding dimensional accuracy and a flawless surface finish. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Garg Steels delivers XM19 forgings that consistently perform well in challenging and corrosive environments.
Stainless Steel XM19 Forgings, also referred to as Nitronic 50, consist of 20–23.5% chromium, 11.5–13.5% nickel, 4–6% manganese, 2–3% molybdenum, and 0.2–0.4% nitrogen, with trace elements that enhance both corrosion resistance and strength. This austenitic stainless steel boasts a yield strength exceeding 379 MPa (in the annealed state) and 690 MPa (when cold worked), along with remarkable ductility and impact resistance. It maintains non-magnetic properties even after cold working and offers excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it perfect for structural and corrosive applications that demand outstanding mechanical performance.
