Stainless Steel 440C Hex Bar is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel that contains around 0.95–1.2% carbon, 16–18% chromium, along with trace amounts of manganese and molybdenum. It’s recognized for its ability to be hardened to 58–60 HRC, providing outstanding tensile strength (up to 760 MPa) and wear resistance. While its corrosion resistance is moderate, it performs well in mildly corrosive environments when polished or passivated.
