Stainless Steel 410 Bars are made up of about 11.5–13.5% chromium and can have a carbon content of up to 0.15%, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and sulfur. As a martensitic stainless steel, it boasts good tensile strength (usually between 700–850 MPa), excellent hardness after heat treatment, and decent corrosion resistance. The 410 bars are magnetic, easy to machine, and can be hardened for better wear and impact resistance. While they may not be as corrosion-resistant as austenitic grades, they hold up well in mildly corrosive environments and are perfect for parts that face mechanical wear, stress, and thermal cycling.
