The Stainless Steel 455 Bars and Rods from Garg Steels are martensitic, age-hardenable alloys that contain about 11–12.5% chromium, 7.5–9.5% nickel, 0.5–1.0% molybdenum, and 1.5–2.5% copper. This alloy is celebrated for its high strength and corrosion resistance, particularly after heat treatment. It boasts a tensile strength of up to 1380 MPa and a yield strength around 1170 MPa, along with excellent toughness and ductility. Stainless Steel 455 can be easily machined and welded in its annealed state, then age-hardened to achieve superior mechanical properties for critical applications.
